KA24DE IMPORTANT build question question
ok so i was putting in my NEW (new pistons rings, machined head etc.) KA24DE bc the shell i had had a flodded engine (gasoline). long story short: i used the same manifold fuel rail injectors etc of the old engine and when i went to crank nothing. again long story short: cylinder 2 injector was letting ALL the fuel go through it therefore flodding the new enige. When i drained it first came the oil then the gas(exaclty the same as when i drained the 1st KA)
MY QUESTION is: is the new engine (never started) ruined? wat i did was fill it again with oil cranked it (w/o distributor injector and sparks connected) then drained it and i will let it sit on the lift over the weekend. |
