First SR Pull

I searched for this and couldn't really find what I was looking for.
But this is my first engine pull, I am pretty mechanical so I am pretty confident I can do it.
I would just like some tips and tricks that you guys have used.
So far I have labeled and pulled the main engine harness(MAF,CAS, Injectors etc..), taken out the shifter, and started working on the PS.
What other wiring do I need to unclip?
Besides wiring, the radiator, and ps, is there anything else that I need to undo?

The car is an s3 w/sr.

Thanks for any advice!

You'll need to unbolt the driveshaft, unbolt all the grounds, and water lines behind the motor running through firewall, pull your power steering pulley off the motor, unbolt the exhaust after the o2 housing. just make sure anything attaching the engine to the car is off. all wiring etc...

I would think this is no different than pulling any other engine.... KA or SR ... . Just unhook everything, unbolt the mounts, and slowly lift the engine out. If you're in your home garage, make sure your ceiling height can accomodate the engine hoist up in the air pretty high.

Since you've taken out the shifter it looks like you're pulling both the engine/trans out together... so make sure you drain the transmission fluid or you'll have a nice mess to clean up. Also, make sure the car is high enough for the transmission to swing down as it comes out... The engine will come forward a little, then you have to get it at an angle to get it out of the bay. good luck
