Wiring s13 redtop sr20 to S14 chassis for air conditioning.
So I am attempting to get the air conditioning going on my s14 with an redtop sr20 swap. Iv already done all of the required mods except the wiring. I am to the understanding that I need to connect the Yellow/Black to Black/Pink on the KA's F3 plug. Well do I connect these wirings directly off the plug? I'm not sure which way to connect them on the harness. Done some research and haven't gotten a definite answer. If anyone has some experience in this I'd appreciate some help! Thanks.

I have not. I just looped it on the connector for now. I couldn't figure it out by looking at a wiring diagram because it doesn't show the other pin on the diagram. Once I actually get it all running I will post up and let you know if it works or not!

To get the AC wiring to work. You indeed just loop the yellow/black and the black/pink wires together directly off of the F3 plug in the passenger footwell behind the ecu. That way it grounds the triple pressure switch from the AC button on the dash instead of the ka's ecu doing it. That simple. Hope this helps.

If you just do the yellow/black black/pink you lose some functions, A/C wont turn off when you floor it, and it could freeze over..
You can make it work like factory if you do a little more wiring. You have to run wires from the ECU pins for A/C relay, A/C hand switch, pressure switch, and thermo-control amp wires to the F3 plug. I used the A/C compressor plug wire on the SR engine harness (blue/red) and ran it to the FICD solenoid so it still kicks up the idle. The rest of the wiring is already there in the body harness on the USDM S14. Just plug the factory plug into the compressor.
