*******RB25 1997 s14********

1997 SE, No rust, Conservative Dyno tune @ 480rwhp on 93 pump gas. %100 Garage kept and barely driven since purchased in 2005,2nd owner& Adult owned, Rebuilt title at 78K due to minor accident (I have photos) and currently has 86,001 original miles, that's right, Ive only put about 7k miles on this thing in the past 9 years. Interior is 9 out of 10 with no odor, exterior 8 out of 10 (original paint) I have most of the stock parts in storage including a mint condition hood. I ve invested over $26K (can provide receipts) I have photo documented this vehicle since purchased, and can provide extensive details of the build to a SERIOUS buyer. I'm in NO hurry to sell and if it doesn't, it will continue to sit in my garage.

"When considering the price, please keep in mind what it's worth to you making this type of purchase from a long time member of the forum with a trusted sales reputation dealing in some high dollar items."

How much I hate the "if only you were closer" statements. If any of you were interested in the car, no distance would be too far...

Beautiful car Rick. I didn't see anywhere on the thread where you said you're NOT interested in trades, so I thought I'd throw an offer your way.

I have a garage queen, meticulously maintained, E60 M5 in the highly sought after Interlagos Blue exterior and black interior. I have $8k Hartge Classic II wheels on it, but that's about it. She has considerably low miles, just hit 60k last week.

There are absolutely no issues with the car and I plan on keeping it forever, but your car is definitely on the list of cars that I'd like to own. If you're willing to trade and pay cash on your end, give me a call or email me. (818) 390-2786. I can send you detailed pictures.

Here's a link to a picture of her. Let me know if it works: http://instagram.com/p/ucRUGujzNU/?modal=true

Thanks,
Art

Thank you and I'm not completely apposed to a possible trade, however my standards are high and I'm very selective on what I'd want to replace my "toy car" with. I already have two VERY NICE daily drivers and two motorcycles so taking a daily driver style vehicle is less appealing (not saying yours is daily status) . I've had two possible trade offers come my way so far (not including yours) and the only issues Ive had is they set the market value of their vehicles at full retail, or what THEY feel would be their ideal selling price, and wanted mine for a "haggled price", which isn't going to happen. Again, I have $26k in receipts and I FEEL I could sell mine for $18k. However, I'm very aware that there is a CASH ONLY price cap on a modified 240sx (regardless of the swap) but when you're taking trade, I feel the rules change. I think its realistic for me (the seller) to come out on top or get the better end of a trade deal. Honestly unless its obviously to my advantage to trade, I'm probably going to pass. Again, I have no reservations about letting the 240 continue to sit in my garage, as who knows, the market for the 240 might improve.

Having said that I WOULD like to see more info and pics of your bimmer

Purchased all of the CF pieces from the same place, it was a new company out of Miami FL. I can't remember the name right off hand but they were Ebay based, I'll have to get back to you on that. It's VERY high quality stuff though

GLWS... I have a feeling your meticulously cared-for S14 with RB25 swap will also go unsold due to lack of finances available to our target market. I started my 700HP RB25 out at $30k and am down to $19k with minimal interest...except guys with Subaru's! They will bombard you with trades for their $14k 2010 stock WRX STI.

Thanks man! Only plans with the car are Work Meisters, and either stock s14 se seats to keep it original and match with the door cards and rear seats...OR some fresh Corbeaus
