Custom Chassis Harness help

I'm wondering how to wire up my ECU (S13 SR20DET) to my Moroso switch panel, I understand how all the wires work and I've looked up the pin-out of the ECU, but there are a few different "power" wires on the pin-out. So I'm wondering which one/ones I should be wiring up to my switch panel. Also, do I need to do anything with the relay that sits next to the ECU? Not quiet sure what that relay does exaclty, i couldn't find much information about it.

I'm far from an electric wiz but & I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but... You don't power the switch. You simply wire the the switch onto the ECU power wire. Switch off = connection broken & no power. Switch on = connection made & power on. Straight forward...

No quite, there needs to be a relay in between due to the toggle switch not being able to handle all of the current (ECU draws a lot of current through it). I'll also be running a fuse as well. I've got the wires sorted myself, I just need to know which wire I need to pull from the ECU to actually power it. I know there is a ECCS relay on the stock chassis harness and I'm wondering if that's what i should use or one of the multiple other power wires they list on the pinout.

The ECCS relay is where the magic happens, I was also attempting this but it got too annoying and I just bought the SR20 harness for non EFI/Race applications from Wiring Specialties.

Im not getting your question.if the pinout says power then you wire it to power. So all of them that say power need to be wired to the relay youre using

What harness are you talking about? I have their engine harness and I actually emailed them about this and I still haven't heard back.

It's the universal pro series one, it has all of the ECU relays integrated and just needs a power and ground to run. Also calling and leaving a message is the fastest way to get a response out of them, they're a busy small company.

Can you send me a link to what you're talking about exactly?

No where past thinking about it haha, I called Yuri and discussed it with him and decided it wasn't worth my time and aggravation.

Well, they weren't of much help... All he could tell me was to look at their PRO series instructions on their website and it might help me.

I was reading something earlier on a Subaru forum and someone was saying to just wire the ignition wire from the ECU directly to a toggle switch and that should solve everything. But my issue is, is that there are a few other "power" wires in the pinout of the ECU so it makes things a little more confusing...

^ this is pulled directly from WiringSpecialties website.

Page 6, this is giving a lot of information about powering for the ECU.

Correct me if I'm wrong, "C" and "F" should get constant 12v and "A" should get power from my toggle switch.

But then what about the ECCS relay... and this is also the chassis part of the harness, not really the ECU.

For anyone interested in this, I figured it all out. Once you read the ECU pinout numbers 46 and 109 get constant 12v and a 5amp fuse, these are both backup power.

PIN number 36, 38, and 47 get put to a 10amp fuse and go directly to your switch, no relay needed.

Again, this is for S13 SR's with ECU code 62/63.
