you guys did know that the UFC doesnt cover their hospital bills right? i forgot what video/interview/fighter it was from but yeah they dont ha.

and why wouldnt the matt/serra fight happen? they both lost to GSP and this match has been in the works for a long time. so give them what they want.

looks like the MW division is getting some more people in there. maybe we can see bisping vs leban. rich vs marquardt etc.

Lol.. if you read the comments under the video.. the brazilian guys say, that Damien maia's jiujitsu is reasonable..but his punches are weak and his stand up need to get much better if he wants to be a good MMA fighter

Thanks WERD for posting the Demian Maia fight! Maia put on a jiu jitsu clinic on Short Fuse. I love his transitions in the 1st round up until he started gassing out. Short Fuse kind of reminds me of Jeremy Horn who has a decent ground game but seems to always be susceptible to white belt triangle set-ups.

just found the time to watch a few of the fights...hats off to GSP, franklin, and bisping...GSP was RELENTLESS, franklin looked great (although it seems hes lost the aggression he used to have...playing it waaaaay too safe even with a useless gassed lutter), and bisping looked amazing after dropping weight...havent had the time to watch the rest of the card...

canadian fans are 1000000000000% better than US fans...gotta love them...just like the korean fans when dynamite was held in LA......US KO reel fanboys suck...mma happens on the ground and when grappling too...

I did read about how apparently UFC doesn't have insurance coverage and if so that is freakin' nuts! How can that be possible? They're going to lose a whole lot of fighters this way if they don't take care of them that's for sure... oh and that torn hammy pic is nasty doo!

MW class does look good and hopefully some of those matches will happen.

maybe the UFC thinks they pay their fighters enough to where they can afford their own health insurance. but that sucks cuz not all of the fighters get paid all that great. imo no health insurance = no bueno. i wonder if pride had health insurance for their fighters....

If you can't afford health insurance, you probably shouldn't look into a career of fighting. It's not like they don't know what they're getting into. They sign the contract and know what's up from the beginning. I'm sick of the fighters just complaining and not doing anything. If they really want stuff to change they have to form a union, plain and simple.

well than thats like going into any kind of work. you can get hurt on the job and companies have insurance etc for their workers. you would think that UFC would have such a thing to help their fighters out.

at 170..GSP would work BJ again. if you think about it..he is one of the p4p best. look at his track record. for how long he's been fighting i'd say he accomplished a lot and has earned that title. he's beaten the top in his weight class even if its just in the UFC.

Werd^^ bj is keeping in shape and is focused on being the first with two belts at the same time! gsp vs penn was a pretty good fight but i didnt like how gsp barely did anything on the ground when he took bj down. A few punches here and there but a crap performance by his standards all in all. For now i just love seeing how he's dominating the toughest division (lightweight) because when he fights he puts on an all around show. A BJ with abs and stamina will definitely spank a GSP with more focus!! LoL

if Penn fights GSP at WW, i think GSP will have the advantage. i think Penn is perfect at LW. i cant wait until next month when he walks over Sherk. im hoping for a rd 1 or 2 ko. not tko, ko.

I like them both but I have to give GSP the edge at that weight. And now the drumroll continues on for Penn vs. Sherk!
