No spark: 93 240sx
Currently doing more research so go ahead and yell or whatnot at me for not doing research before posting. I'm just posting because maybe someone will come up with a solution before I do.
That being said, I have a 93 240sx with a 95 ka block, I've gotten everything back in order (as far as I can tell). With the battery hooked up everything gets power except my distributor. Starter turns the engine over, injectors inject, ignition coil has power coil to dizzy wire has power but there is no power leaving the dizzy. My CPS plug has power, when tested with a multimeter they read .1v, 12v, 5v, 5v I have no idea if these are the proper readings. My guess is either my CPS or my dizzy is bad. Note that both worked perfectly before the swap. If anyone has any input it's greatly appreciated! Thanks! -A 240 owner that just wants to drive his baby agin |

check your 75a j case fuse its a grey square rectangle fuse, they are known to pop A LOT when hooking things up and will sometimes cause it not to start, but you will get everything else like mentioned.

Always keep a spare 75a fuse.
If you are putting a OBD2 motor in a OBD1 car. OBD1- distributer and igniter are separated.+ OBD1 ECU OBD2 distributer and igniter are 1 part.+ OBD2 ECU Don't mix and match. |
