Replace it. That harness it's too expensive... Lengthen it properly and route it correctly

theres a company that makes pre made chassis harnesses,but they are like 700-1000 maybe even more, if you are capable of getting wire colors of the wires that you fried, i can pull up the manual of your car and tell you exactly what they are. let me know, im sure between me and rawgarage we can point you in the right direction.

as in a grand not being expensive? Or as in buying just that part of the chassis harness?

the four wires as shown in the pictures are: light green with a yellow stripe, all red with white notches on it (12v?), black with yellowish green stripe and white notches, and the fourth wire in the second picture on the top is brownish with grey notches on it. when you relocate, exstend or shorten wires does that change fuse values? also could i use the same gauge wire for almost everything?

From a very basic view, the length that your extending your wires would have no great impact on anything of the sort if your just extending the length to clear the wheel arc.

The fuse box will be before any great length of wire that could potentially cause a fire which is the main purpose of the fuse box.

Also you should be matching the same gauge of wire that you were extending. Make sure to do it correctly and not jank ass with electric tape and twisting the wires. This is the area of your car you should take extra care to make sure is done correctly. Use either insulated crimps or solder and heat shrink tubing.

i am trying to relocate my fuse box to under the dash its a fully gutted car. and I'm trying to figure out my RB20DET wires for my s13. I have an automatic wire harness whitch is confusing to me idk what to do with the auto trans plugs cut them off? . Was thinking to just cut the fuses and relays and place them on a pannel and re wire them from there would that be best?

well skellis14 thanks for thread jacking my thread. You can use bigger wire just not smaller. No I don't think that it changes a fuse value. Now please do your research or start your own thread as I am having problems of my own that I need help with. I am taking my car to a local shop in the next week or two if I can't figure this out.
