94 Zenki sr20det fuel leak
I tried searching before posting but I got frustrated. Last week after filling the tank i leaked fuel for 3 days until about 1/2 tank was left and then it stopped. Took the harness straps off so I could fit my fingers on top of the tank and felt that the fuel line was rotted out pretty much. As many know to drop a tank on an s14 you have to drop the whole rear subframe. So my question is this, do I just get it professionally done? Do I buy knew lines and then drop it? Do I get a new tank and lines and then drop it? I'm just trying to save myself from dropping it myself and not having all I need to fix it, seeing how that's going to take almost a whole day. Anybody else had this issue?

Sounds like the tank is cracked/split at the seam to me. If the line was bad it would leak all the time. It's not bad/ hard to do, I just dropped one out this past weekend to do sub frame raisers had it back in under 4 hours.

I'd get a fuel cell. Good chance that a used tank of is gonna leak. They r known to leak from the seam. I'd look into your subframe bushings too. They r usually the reason behind the leaky tank and u gonna have it out any way. As for Jb weld I'd say no way man but that's just me

Been through this twice because I went with a used tank on the first time. Valuable lesson learned. Buy new here. Also, the headache was worth paying someone else to do it, IMO. This is the main reason why I prefer S13's over S14s.
