thanks guys! and turst me the first thought in my mind was an LS1 swap with a T56 6 speed. BUT......i feel that i need to get out of my comfort zone and see what my experience and knowledge can do with a 4 cylinder car lol. ive build many LT1/LS1 cars and i own 2 6 cylinder turbo vehicles, so now its time to boost the $HIT out of 4 cylinder for once lol

here are the pics of the car as i bought it and some of the things i have already done to the car.
first morning of me owning this! the previous owner told me that the car had a blown head gasket. this is how the engine bay looked when i got the car. after pulling the valve cover and removing the intake manifold i found a short piece of heater hose that was blown out just above the starter. so much for it having a blown head gasket :P while i had it apart i couldnt help but clean things up and make it my own. the trunk and center tail light section was damaged when i got the car. so with some luck i found a 96 240sx in a local junk yard that had a good trunk and tail lights. it also had alot of other parts i needed. i went ahead and darkened the tail lights. i also was sad to see that the Nissan logo on the tail lights wasnt just stuck on. it has holes in it which i didnt like, so i modified the emblem a bit and painted it to match my valve cover the drivers headlight and passengers side marker lenses where broken with holes in them when i bought the car so i crabbed them from the junk yard car and switched the driver headlight lense and cleaned up all the front lights. |
