What are you talking about? You can find Evo 8's under $20k all day... S2Ks are a joke to find under $20k.

I voted Yes, but wait because, honestly, I think I'd still rather have a 135i over a future 240 if they look anything like the pictures I've been seeing...
blech. then again they could come out with something totally nice and out of left field.

lol. Nice catch there.
I think if it came out and looked like, say, the new school 240z we've all seen, had a 2.0t engine, and started under 20k, then I'd get one... But id def wait. And again, I won't buy a new car. Depriciation's a bitch. By the time this comes out, I can get a used 135i for prolly the same price...

Nope Never. I will never buy a new car unless I'm a pimp and can afford some crazy vip car or like some crazy exotic car.

I love my 98, but would not buy a new 240. No more japanese cars for me, I want to go German or Italian for my next car. So far there's nothing I really, really like in the market, except for the M6 which is out my price range right now.

Meh I would rather mod and beat the shit out of my old car then spend the initial high price of the new one. And I think i would rock the new maxima that things hot for a dd imo. Nice baby wagon.

I voted "no" for 2 reasons.
one: because I'm not in the financial possition to get one. two: I wouldn't get it because I would somewhat want to modify it, but I would be very hesitant to buy a new car and void its waranty just because I modified it. If I were to ever get a brand new car, it wouldnt be something I'd want to modify (anything 2 door)... it would more be a sedan or truck than anything.

Now that I think about it I may not. In 2011 I will have just graduated only a year ago (hopefully) and I will more than likely either be still paying on a BMW 328i or DD a 250sx (RB25). So I dont think I would be in a good position to buy a new or even used car.
However 2014 yea game on |

i love how people are saying NO because it will probably be ugly or whatever
"assuming it is everything you wanted and expected" we are assuming it IS exactly what you are looking for in a new s chassis |

Just FYI as a baseline, and it's funny because I was looking at new cars. Right now the only 2008-20009 model year vehicles I would realistically buy would be a Viper ACR, Corvette ZR1, Porsche GT2, Aston DBS, Ferrari 430, Jaguar XKR (for nostalgic reasons when my uncle used to drive me around in his jag when I was a child), MB S65 (to spite my aunt).
Several years ago I would have ranked the 430 higher than the DBS but times change and so has my taste. I have definitely outgrown small displacement high strung Japanese cars. The only way I would buy a new 240 would be: a) they gave the car some real balls with a supercharged V8 or something to that effect, or b) they revived the 180SX fastback body a la kouki 180SX style. I would definitely buy one and swap in a V8. Last edited by g6civcx; 11-28-2008 at 09:26 AM.. |

I'm sure it'd be nice and I'd possibly think of wanting one, but I'm more then happy with my current collection and that's all I really need. No point in picking up extra debt. The thought would be there though.

Yes. i am in the market for a new car soon i love my s14 and want to keep it then have a newer car to drive more on a daily basis. Im really looking forward to an offical announcement and final production concept of the car, and if it would meet all the above mentioned traits i would def hold on till it comes out and buy it.

20-25 it better be boosted... 17-19.9 and I would consider it a little sooner. I voted for 2nd year just to compare weight differences and possible improvements as usual.
