Not enough space next to clutch pedal

So my feet are kinda wide and i just installed my clutch pedal in my s13 to get ready for the auto to manual swap this weekend. My problem is that whenever i go to rest my foot next to the clutch pedal theres just barely enough room and my foot clips the edge of the pedal whether im lifting it up or putting it down. Anyone else have this problem or any ideas or solutions?

The side of foot clips the clutch pedal everytime i go to rest it on the foot rest/support. It barely fits between the clutch pedal and side wall. Ill post pics up when i get a chance to go out to my car.

Put your foot in a different location or don't wear boots while your driving. There is no fix for this.

The pedal was installed in the position of the old brake pedal and the clutch is installed where it was marked out. Heres a pic of how far away they all are from each other

It looks pretty far away from the brake pedal... Mine are almost evenly spaced between each other(in my S14), with the brake pedal slightly closer to the go fast pedal in relation to one another. Is that the factory S13 pedal?

Sorry must of been a typo. I ment to say the new manual brake pedal was installed where the old automatic brake pedal was. And the clutch pedal was installed where it was marked on the firewall to be placed.

I really dont wanna take the kick panel off because i dont wanna start kicking wires and fuses and crap. Plus the car is in near perfect condition and id like to keep all its pieces in tact as much as possible.

My car is an auto-manual swap as well... The clutch pedal that PO had in there was way over like that too... What I did was get a different (JDM) pedal set off Ebay where the clutch pedal didn't have all that clutch safety switch crap on it (not needed for the swap)... Now my pedals are close together; and nowhere near the footrest.

Before:

After:

Aside from that, modifying the pedal is really your only other option.

GL!

How did you know the JDM pedals off ebay where gonna be farther over before you bought them? Im also thinkin about cutting the pad off and welding off to the right a bit. Either that or just trying to put a double bend in the pedal. Not sure yet though
