Count Von Purp Z31
Well it all started almost 5 years ago. Bought it with a blown head gasket and missing misc. Parts for 400 bucks. Months later it looked like this
I was 15 and didn't know much about this car. But I knew I liked and wanted to keep it. It slowly grew on me. I went thru some faces which I don't like to talk about but I'll show them to you guys lol Black top and wheels Rattled canned who doesn't like cool blue light? lol At this point, I started learning about the stance scene and I knew I wanted to follow it. So I went and picked up some 1 1/2" (38mm)spacers for the wheels Looked better than before but there was alot of low desired. So I installed some coilover sleeves and went low. I was satisfied with the rear but there was work still left for the front. Rode around for a few weeks before hitting my first show. After this I got a little bored with the car and wanted to do something fun. So what did I do? And man was it fun. People use to go crazy at shows and write all kinds of stuff. But i got tired and raised the rear back up and added a roof rack. I was also starting to get bored with the interior, So Ebay hub adapter, Wheel, and shift knob were ordered. Picked up some seats and a wink mirror local and it all went in. Oh and Led lights were added later The car called lots of attention at shows but I was still not happy with how the car sat. So I ordered me some cheap knockoff wheels and this happened. Spacers still on. Wheels are 17x10 +20. with spacer =-18 I was in love with how the wheels looked on the car, but with the lower profile tires the car needed to go lower. So I did this(godspeed s13 coils) So I could do this(didn't stay like that lol) and this(shorterned towers, scirocco inserts, adjustable perches, godspeed springs and camber plates). At this point I was very please with the stance on the car. I took it to various local shows and people loved it After that show I started to get bored with the car(something I do a lot) and cranked the front a little lower to accomplish this it sat awesome. but the rear wasn't were I wanted it even with the spacer, so I added a 7mm slip on spacer on top and It was perfect Anyways I got tired of the rack and took it off and decided to go on a different direction. More of a cleaner look. At this point I had things rolling thru my head and I knew I wanted big changes. So I ordered this And while I waited for the spare time to paint the car, I went and got the hood cf wrapped and picked up a new lip. I also made some splitters just for the hell of it Then the day came and this happened All put together The paint job wasn't perfect but in the end it was a backyard job so I was pleased Went to a local show tried taking pictures of the car but failed Around my buddy had just finished painting his, the other #thundercookie so we went out and took some pics And I started getting bored again. So I built me a rear diffuser and roof spoiler and we come to what it looks like today Car has been thru a lot but I'm happy I never gave up. I love where it stands today and I will never stop doing things to it. Future plans? most likely Stance Solutions Air cups and some legit wheels. But for now, Daily driving will do. Thanks for reading. Last edited by jesus94p; 06-11-2013 at 09:25 AM.. |
