It's 1: accuracy (much more accurate than stock also with different redlines and higher rev capabilities) and 2: shift light

my apologies. it's just wierd seeing 10 or 12k rpm rpm guages (the size of small children) on pickup trucks and domestics that redline at 3krpm. Quote:

ni[x]it, you attempted to talk shit and got called for it. You were wrong then, and you are wrong now for attempting to talk shit to yet another member.
You will not use Zilvia.net as an outlet for your e-thuggery. Back on topic.

Reverse display guages mounted on the rear deck? Then you can see them in the rearview.

2) Apillar gauges are harder to read because they're closer to you, requiring your eyes to focus longer when viewing them, taking away from your attention of the road and the things around you. 3) Three gauges stacked on an Apillar looks stupid because the lowest one is on an entirely different plane of sight, as is the top one. 4) Carbon fiber trim may look nice as an accent, but an entire pillar of CF doesn't flow with the rest of the trim, the mating edge to the Bpillar wouldn't match, and the rest of the interior would need similiar accents on either side to look like it was fitted appropriately the car. 5) CF in itself is designed to save weight, but the added material to make the guage cups would offset any weight savings, therefore making it just as heavy as the factory plastic piece. Shall I go on?

^Good idea, but the execution is lacking in my opinion. I have seen gauges molded into that area, and it looks much cleaner then "wedging" them in.
