Fan noise issues????

For Past couple of days the fan on my car all of a sudden got louder and seems to blower harder at low rpm and high rpm what seems to be the reason for this?

Clutch fan is locked up. Replace as required.

go to the junk yard and pick up electric fans off a ford taurus and never look at a clutch fan again.

And load up your alternator more than it likes.

Do a search, there's a thread just recently on the benefits of a clutch fan over electric. Plenty of good info.

That's the terminology used, actually backwards wording. When the clutch fan goes out it free spins dead without resistance.

So my in other words my clutch fan is out & it is just rotating due to the PS belts moving it and that's why it's making the loud blowing noise when I give it gas?

s14

That’s exactly what’s happening. The clutch is supposed to disengage at a particular speed and temperature. Yours is not doing that anymore. I have the exact same issue right now. It is affecting my performance and gas mileage big time. I just bought a new one at Autozone for $39.00. Easy fix.

clutch fans arent supposed to be exceeding loud. if its really loud, its either no longer working correctly or you have a bad bearing in your water pump, which if thats the case will eventually cause the water pump to explode violently. . . its happened to me before.

replace the clutch, then see if it still loud.

yup your fan is "locked" up. i think mines trying to but i dont really care right now because the worst thing that happens is bad gas fuel economy and the fan blow really hard. it shouldnt break anything just keep up engine a little extra cool.
