well im sure you've thought of this already but in case you havnt ....i would assume power ditribution ....make sure the wire is hot and making contact....the simplest way would to bring out the tester for power........there are some where you dont need to break the insulation for like 15 at home depot. greenlee

i swapped harnesses to check if it was harness.not harness, so
i bridged the connection from pass headlight to driver side. both are working now any problems in doing this? im thinking that power is divided and headlights are now not that bright. but i really cant tell. |

went to autozone and checked the socket to see if there's any power there.
and the guy checking it says there only a little bit of power there(the light in the tester was barely lighting up compared to the other headlight) he said there might be a short somewhere. the guy checked the fuses and they were ok, there's power there. so where can i go to get this fixed? |

you need to take out the headlight switch out of the steering wheal open it up and clean the connectors with a wire brush the one that you swich your lights on and off with had the same problem. They get burnt and stop working. it is a box at the end of the black switch open it there are copper connectors inside they well be burnt black clean that off and re-install If that doesn't work pull one out of a 240 at a wrecking yard. im sure that is your problem..
i forgot what site with the form on how to do it step by step sorry... |

Ive had this problem before due to power distribution. I disconnected both of them then reconnected only the one that did not work just to see if it will work. If it works just reconnect the other one and you should be fine. If not just check your fuse or wiring.
