Every once in a while my car won't go into reverse, but if I let it roll a bit it'll go in no problem. Anyone know what this is? Prob with the Synchro maybe? (don't know too much about this kind of thing)

My car's the same way. If it won't go into 1st or reverse, let the clutch up just a tiny bit and then try again. Or, if you can, let the car roll while you're putting it into gear. Mine always goes in when I do this. I don't know why this happens, but my BF's 92 Eclipse did the same thing. He says there's nothing wrong with that, his 2000 WS6 even does it sometimes. When you slip the clutch a bit, it allows the transmission to turn, and it allows the gear to catch.
So, we have nothing to worry about. It's just a characteristic of owning a manual. |
