Is there rules in drag about how far you can modify the motor and still call it an SR. I mean if it has an aftermarket block its kinda unfair to even call it by its original name although the design is still the same.
Just curious. |

Don't forget; Under Suzuki's Scorch Racing S15 just took 2nd at the Tsukuba time attack with a 53.638. The only faster car is that crazy HKS CT230R Evo from a few years ago with its record of 53.589.

Why don't you consider it an sr? Have you seen the billet block? It's an exact sr replica just made from differen't material. You think all drag cars use oem blocks? hell no

You guys are stupid. Yeah it has a billet block. But it is a direct copy of the oem block just made from stronger material and coolant passages are gone so that its more solid. It still uses an SR20VE oem head.. Yes its an SR. Dont care what you say. Morons

And yeah, you think the big name drag guys are using OEM blocks? No, they are using better made blocks and completely not even oem design heads made by completely different manufacturers.

Yeah, Ive seen pictures of it. The Aussies dont have rules in that class that this car runs in against having aftermarket blocks.
You should see the block Mazworx is about to finish up. Pretty nuts. And its for one of their overseas customers. |
