fits directly only if you are using a greddy (style) intake manifold. also the tps is the same so u can use either q45 or rb25 with your S1 incase it didnt come with one

Bringing up an old topic here! I have a s1 rb25 with a greddy intake and a q45 tb and I guess im missing the idle air control valve?
Im not sure where it even goes... Anyone know what year q45 throttle bodies are used with rb25 so I could get one??

well the guy that had it before me has some lines on the throttle body plugged up so maybe that's got something to do with it...
I just don't see anywhere that it could go... Ill post a pic of the plugged up lines later

The RB25 IACV is normally located underneath the Greddy manifold with the adjustment screw facing the passenger side strut tower. It should be turned all the way clockwise and then backed out 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
As far as the Q45 TB goes, it has a secondary spring assembly on the throttle plate that needs to be removed in order for the engine to compensate correctly. Also, there are two vacuum lines that need to be capped on the TB so it doesn't bleed unmetered air into the system. |
