Just wanted to give everybody a heads up on the race tomorrow. Here is the original post from www.streetracingforums.com. Hope to see some of you guys out there. I don't want to be the only one getting the v8 kills!
Street Lethal - 4th annual BS Stops Here 2004 (Oct 24) Once again it's time to tear up 1,320 feet of drag strip in order to find out who can back up all the shit talking. Street Lethal's 4th annual Bull Shit Stops Here 2004. So, October 24th it is. This race is open to anything. Even if you don't think your car is fast, bring it, there will be someone there that you can race. Pay outs will be consistent with the number of entries we have (The more people that come to race, the more money we can pay out). Classes: 1. Quick 8 2. Slicks 3. Street Tires (Includes Drag Radials) 4. Less Than 8 Rules: - Quick 8: Open to all tires. Qualifying runs will be held through out the day. The fastest 8 cars are qualified for final rounds of elimination. Eliminations start at 2 PM. You are allowed to run in other classes along with quick 8 if you so choose. NOTE: "Run what ya brung." No restriction on power adders. - Slicks: Includes ET Streets and ET Drags. - Street Tires: Includes street radials and drag radials. - Less Than 8: Consists of cars with less than 8 cylinders. If you run in Less Than 8 you are no longer eligible to run in Quick 8. However, you may run heads-up in any other class. Lane assignments will be made the day of the event. Event Schedule: 9:AM: Gate opens. 10:AM – 12:PM: Track open, test and tune begins. 2:PM – 4:PM: Eliminations begin for ALL classes at the top of each hour. (There will be test and tune between elimination rounds). 4:PM: Quick 8 final race. King of the BS Stops Here 2004 crowned. Prizes and trophies will be awarded at the stands following the final Quick 8 race. Cost $10 to get in the gate. $10 additional to race all day. Hope to see everyone down there for this one, it will be a good one as always
