LSD question

ok, i am planning on getting an LSD, and i will be pushing around 350+rwhp, i am not a drifter, not hardcore road racer, i am an occasional autocrosser and spirited driver I want to be able to spin BOTH wheels, not just one, and i was wondering if the JGY "LSD" would be enough for me, or should i go all out and get a 1.5 way Kaaz or sometihng similar. I have basically ruled out a VLSD b/c of them wearing out and all... Btw i have an s13 hatch if it matters..
also will a clutch type sacrafice much comfort? not that it matters too much...
thanks

HLSD! Or a 1.5 way and adjust the clutch disks to your liking.

"JGS LSD" is a Phantom Grip...they suck.

And don't let the drift crowd scare you off from a VLSD...they are perfect for street and auto-x.

They do wear out, but after +10 years of abuse...or more.

Not so great for drift...lockup isn't reliable as they get hot. But I have no complaints with mine, for road course, auto-x, and street. +5 years, ~300rwhp now...still great IMO.

KAAZ may be better, but I doubt it's 3X as good to justify 3X the cost...IMO.

Hit or miss.. Even though orion is right about vlsds... they are ok, but for my money i'd like a sure thing.

1.5 way nismo sounds like it'll be good for you. It's perfect for the street (doesn't make any noise, doesn't really clunk) and runs about 700 bucks, and it uses budget friendly synthetic (unlike kaaz).

Agreed 110%. The drifters will all tell you what they swear by, but half of them are poser kids who don't know the difference and are just riding the wagon like a bunch of fags because they read it in a magazine.
Get a diff from a 95+ J30, most of them are adult driven, never abused, and fitted to an auto transmission so they've never seen anything above 5k rpm. It'll be fine for whatever you throw at it and won't cost over $250.
