*Snooze alert* Bring on the h8, just another V8
Ls1 t56 S14 Kouki build
In October 2001 I crashed my first car, a 93 coupe Se got a 96 zenki to replace it The white zenki lasted me a little over a year. May of 2003 I drove to NYC to purchase the car which this build thread is based upon, my 98 kouki. Started doing some light mods, lowering springs/shocks, Hid's, CF hood, Gt spec exhaust then megan coilovers, z32 brakes, subframe spacers, switched to rsr gt2 exhaust because ground clearance sucked on apexi gt spec, etc. Also did z32 wheels, z33 wheels, and g35 wheels scooped an s14 sr driveshaft shop 1 piece driveshaft, diff bushings, nismo trans mount, etc powered by max flex cobra downpipe drop in day making progress decided to do s15 front, now i debate whether or not i made the right choice. *Mind made up, going back to kouki ARC oil pan digital climate control took it to re spec garage to figure out a fuel issue took it to ma motorsports in baltimore to diagnose some strange noises turns out the weird noises were that some jackass put my throw out bearing in backwards and it actually melted to my pressure plate, my flywheel wasnt torqued so it was loose and beating up against back of block, and timing chain guide was broken. sent my z32 uprights to stephen knoop (fortune auto ls1 s14, va beach) to have the lower shock mounts reclocked to get rid of the wretched binding that occurs when using these on s14, also had def's speherical bearings put in. Work Rezax wheels Trust DD exhaust Instant gentleman s15 kit Last edited by 1993fdrx7; 02-25-2016 at 02:05 PM.. |

I must have been confused thought I saw this car or one very similar for sale recently. Regardless very nice build and beautiful color. What trans are you going to run?
As far as the pix I use IMGUR and when I go to paste the pix I click on the "Large Thumbnail" option on the right hand side and the pictures are usually a good size but not overwhelming. |

Are you the one that switched from the pbm coils to the scale ones?
I saw on a build thread just a couple of hours ago that someone was getting the scale coils but was unsure if it was you or not. I reread your post and see nothing now lol. |

Thanks.
BTW - I have been uploading pics to imgur but they are still huge, I have no idea what I am doing wrong but it is way too time consuming for me to keep investing time into it with garbage results. |

So click on your image in IMGUR and when you do on the bottom right should be something that notes "large thumbnail"...click on that and your picture is resized. You can copy and paste the "webforums" type code and paste here.

ahh I cant see any pics at work! I'm doing a LS S14 as well, and I'm going with the completed fueled performance kit, unless you recommend to piece together like you did? full kit has all mounts, drive shaft, long tubes, power steering lines, and oil pan.
any advice would be greatly appreciated steven |
