s14 What causes FLCA ball joints to wear out?

I just replaced my drivers side Ball joint a month ago. Also replaced tierods.

Now my ball joint is popping again. Steering to the right is super touchy and unstable, steering to the left is normal.

Sway bar bushings/end links?

What causes the FLCA ball joint to wear out?

Have you ever hit a curb or anything? If you have something bent under there, it probably is throwing off the angle of how your ball joint travels causing premature wear on it.

Have you had an alignment recently? Also having a lowered car wears suspension components like ball joints, tie rods, tensions rods, etc out faster than normal but not in a months time.

I need an alignment bad

OEM suspension other than some ES bushings.

Could preloading the tension rods have anything to do with it?

messed up alignment = messed up ball joints. specially if you just changed your tie rods. it might be putting too much stress on it. your supposed to get an alignment right after it.

i would say its not your ball joints that are poping. Sometimes when you fix one suspension prob it causes another, new ball joints might cause stress on much older parts that had no probs previously.tension rods maybe?

tension Rods are brand new. Im not sure I tightened them correctly (car on the ground or in the air, or the wheels sitting on plates with grease so the rods/bushings arent binding?) Its doing the exact same thing the dead ball joint used to do.

The only warn things look to be the sway bar endlinks.

Durring turning I can watch the drivers side tire, and see it bind at certain points, then hear a pop.

However the Drivers side tension rod bushing (OEM w/3pc ES bushings) looks crooked
