Broken sr20 motor
I'm coming back to plainfield, il with a broken sr20 in my 90 coupe. Any places I can take it to get fixed. I broke the crank I actually melted the bearings, but I bought a new one put it in after I tried fixing it and failed. I sent it to a mechanic down in louisana were im currently at it sat for 9 months and he lied about how the car was coming along. The car is in illinois now just can't find a place mechanics give me trusting issues.
If anyone could help I'd appreciate it, my names Nate just getting out of the service. |

Ayyyy it's Dakota here. Back when I was 16 I had a single slammer hatch. After that, I drove an NA Miata. Now I drive a 91 coupe. It currently has 67k miles on it so that's got me pretty stoked. Previous owner did a couple mods, catback exhaust and intake. Other than that the motor and suspension are stock. Since I got the car this summer I have been slowly lurking back on here and checking the classifieds.

Hello Zilvians,
Tai here from wichita, Ks. I have owned my 95 s14 for 8 years now. It has been sitting for the past 4 years, but now with some free time on my hands I am able to picked up where I left off. I also plan on picking up a s14 kouki once I'm done with my zenki. |

Hey what's going. I'm Wil and I'm new to the silvia world. I have pretty much adopted my girlfriend's SR20DET swapped 96' S14, who bought someone's project over a year ago. It use to be sponsered by Rockstar energy drinks, and has a 6 point welded roll cage with a 5 gallon fuel cell in the trunk. I've been doing quite a bit of lurking to learn about both the motor and the cars/brand themselves. Looking forward to being a part of this community.

New and need help
New to forums in general. Looked for threads about building a KA24de up but can't find anything. I did post on one thread but haven't gotten any response.
I don't want to, nor am I gonna make a new thread because apparently that's "not cool" and I can see why, I just can't find any of the info I'm looking for. Somebody help me out! New to this forum and forums in general. I have 91 Nissan 240sx, it's a dual cam ka. I was looking to rebuild the motor since it has 260XXX +. I wasn't just looking to rebuild to stock but I'm into drifting and want more power. Internally what can I do to this motor to get more power (other than turboing). Eventually id like to turbo it, but for now I want it NA with power. Also if you live in So Cal and know any good shops I can get in contact with about this and have them possibly do the work I would appreciate the number and address. Thanks!!! |

Hey! Long time reader, new member looking for another 240sx after a decade of hybrid drought now that I am finally old enough to approach finding a weekend car with the one required ingredient: Cash I am willing to spend on something I might blow up.
When I was 17 I had a 89 hatch that I somehow managed to throw a SR into. Unfortunately I had tuition to pay for so I only had fun for about four months. A week ago my 2012 Prius "weekend" car was murdered by a 17 year old on a learners permit who didn't understand what a stop sign was. So I have resigned myself to get a 240sx, ae86 hatch, 510, or 280z for the weekends instead and just deal with mpg change. Hopefully the community and reading threads will help me spend my budget of 9000 on something more than a rusty shinny turd here in NJ/Philadelphia. Craigslist is filled with beautiful cars that are probably mechanical landmines with my limited knowledge. The whole thing tempts me into buying a S2000 but I will not give up because frankly convertibles are the worst. |

Hi, I am new here but have heard of this forum for a really long time. I have a s13 that I took down to bare shell. There seems to be a lot of good information here so I will be reading quite a bit. Well, onto my reading
