It's not so much crashing and having to fix it as it is fixing every other god damn thing on the car that will break.
Don't know why people think drift cars have to look like a bag of dicks.

You should try not to smash but if you do make sure you have a sponsor like a body shop or a friend in auto collision who can repair you on the cheap and put their sticker on your windshield lol.

lol I'm pretty sure you have to establish your *name* and *talent* before you get sponsors willing to do thousands worth of auto repair AND let there name be shown on a beginner drifters car.. just looks weird on them lol. but YEAH if your good that's definitely a sick way to go.

I think the concensus is to drift. I have well over 18k invested into my 240 over the time I've had it and if it breaks, well money well spent because like someone stated you only live once...

Don't forget man you can always rattle can your car. Honestly, like the look of some of the rattle can colors.. Black looks nice, and olive drag green looks pretty killer...a guy I knew in Japan drifted an olive green chuki

If you have money go for it. If you dont then dont bother its a expensive sport, but if its what you love to do then go for it. People spend tons of money on games, drugs, yugioh cards, etc But in the end if it makes you happy then why not. I have a clean kouki s14 i dont drift it. I get shit from ppl all the time about why i dont drift it. They say its ment for drifting but then again if you go and tell a guy with a sti to take his car and rally it im pretty sure hes gonna say no.

Mine is pretty "clean" I guess. I drift it more than I drive it normal. Been drifting the same car for over 6 years now... Many sanctioned and non-sanctioned events under the belt. I'm sorry, I just can't do the "zip-tied" thing.
