Just picked put a 240. W/ bad transmission(s)

Sup guys .. My first post here. I'm new to the Nissan world. I had recently picked up a 1991 auto 240sx coupe from my uncle.. He told me if I could start it I could have it.. So I started it and now I have it. I want to clean it up and have it for a DD.

problem is, it's got 200k miles, as I drove it up from the central valley to the bay, the tranny took a crap..I got it towed back To my uncles, we had a friend grab a junk yard tranny and throw it it.. And that tranny went out again when tried to drive it up again, this time I got it towed up here to the bay.. So now I got a car sitting on the drive way, that needs a new tranny.

I'm wondering if any of u guys in northern Ca have an auto tranny laying around, that will at least last a 30k of driving, lol. Or if u guys can point me in the right direction to grab one for dirt cheap.. Or even free. Lmk thanks guys.

-danyo

hit up the classifieds here, look for random parts threads and car part outs (your best bet). Im sure you will be able to find one in a part out. Good luck man.

I would like to, but I need the car to be usable for my girlfriend.

I've been looking on craigslist, and saw a auto trans from a 1997 ka24de. .. And from my research they are the same?

I would do up the 240 proper, but it is more of a daily beater.. I mean I'll still keep it clean and eye friendly, lol... I can't stand driving a rust bucket
