s13 Engine/Chassis Harness

Turns out I have to get my engine harness and chassis harness replaced. Anybody know how hard/easy it is to get those replaced? I have the engine harness and I ordered a chassis harness. The s13 is at the shop now and they're charging 65/hour and said that it was a 5 to 8 hour job. Why do I have a feeling it shouldn't take that long? Help me out fam.

also, the guy said it was because the car sits so low that the tires were rubbing the harness and messing it up. one of my friends who owns a s13 which is more slammed than mine said that the tire should only rub the body/fender. sooo.....

It can be taken off in a couple hours if that. It unplugs under the dash and you can find one on here for about $120 shipped.

You shouldn't need to replace the engine harness. You could always repair the chassis harness where it rubbed through also.
