Clutch options?

I?m in the market for a new clutch and I?m looking around for opinions. I don?t mind heavier clutches and I will eventually put a beating on the clutch so overkill is fine with me. I doubt the car will ever go over 350 wheel torque but I?d prefer a lot of headroom with a heavier pedal.

I was looking at the RPS max clutch 6 puck 2400lb. It?s $520 which is higher than a couple other options but it can be rebuilt and modified. It?s also rated for 550 so the clutch should never be a concern with a 15% harder pedal feel.

This is just what my quick research came to but I want to know if y?all have any other options/opinions. Not trying to spend over 600 for the clutch/pressure plate but I might be open to spending more money to get a new clutch cable, selector fork, etc.

The flywheel is supposedly relatively new. Maybe a couple years on it. Would I still have to resurface if it?s in decent condition?

If you're going to tear it down to the point of doing a clutch job my vote is always resurface the flywheel if it's been on there for some time. Not that expensive and it's better to have the piece of mind. My .02
