Where did the "dirty love" sticker come from? I have one on a car I bought.
Build looks good so far, glad to see you kept your door panels. I regretted ditching mine in my last car. |

So Patience Metal Fab sent me some more updates on the roll cage. I have to say I'm very impressed with their work. Definitely recommend these guys if you need any metal work done.

My friend stop up to the shop where they are working on my car and had snapped a few pics. Wish I would have been using a real camera since the beginning of this build, his pics look so much better. Plus he is also a very good photographer so that definitely helps.

Finally my drift car is back at the shop and I can begin to work on it also.
Ordered up a Grip Royal Classic to replace the cheap ebay wheel that came with my car.

Yeah, hopefully it works out, so far I'm not exactly sure if I like the size of the wheel.
Also one of my hopefully favorite purchases this winter some DRIFT FREAQ Motor and Transmission Mounts Made the upgrade to a s14 sr water pump also. Old New Not exactly sure how this happened but this was my flywheel after last season. Looks like someone took a grinder to a section of it. Will be replacing it with just a stock s14 flywheel. Spent some time redoing my dash also, still need to make a mounting point for my turbo timer, but this should work for now. Some other random photos So my hopes are to have the car up and running before the first Drift Day at Shawano. Hoping that it won't come down to the wire the same way that last years No Star Bash was.

Your flywheel is chewed up from: starter drive staying engaged or hitting something on bell housing(less likely). May want to replace starter if it shows any sign of wear,or just to be safe.. Also do you want to pm me the size of your tires/rim width.

Yeah, the starter looks fine though, may have just tried starting it when it was already running, (turbo timer and turned the key to far) Chris gave me his s14 flywheel to use so it should be good. Also my battles are 17x9.5 +15 and I run Kenda Kaisers 225/45/17's

It only took them about 5 weeks to get the cage done. Also keep in mind that they only worked on it a couple nights a week and weekends also. Pretty quick turn around.
As for pricing though, around 2500 by the time I was done give or take some. But I had them do a few other things also for the car. If your truly interested in a cage by them just give them a call, since there are so many variants in a cage that the price can differ drastically. As for their quality of work, I highly recommend it.

Been getting a lot of things either purchased or done for this upcoming season.
Ordered a bunch of maintenance items for the car - Front and Rear Crank Seals - Front and Rear Transmission Seals - ISIS Thermostat - New Coolant temp switch, and sensor - Also replaced every single coolant line and clamp under the intake manifold. Started to do some sound deadening removal also. This time using dry ice. Work way better then the heat gun method, but I still need to use it on some of the vertical surfaces and hard to reach spots. Hopefully will be painting soon. Also got a few other new parts in NRG Quick Release Bride Low Max Replica Seat and NRG Harness. . . Had purchased a Sparco Evo2 Plus but it wouldn't fit between the doorbar and the trans tunnel. This should do the trick. And right now currently waiting to hear back on a turbo upgrade. Also still waiting on my new SPL tie rod ends which have been on back order for almost a month now, and ball joints to come in so I can extend the FLCA's so I can finally fully use these Mandrew Knuckles.

Another weekend of very minimal progress. Although it at least looks somewhat better.
Finished the sound deadening removal with the heat gun and scraper method again. Wasn't to thrilled about that. Then started preparing for paint. Really wish I would have done a lot of the work before getting the cage. Complete pain in the ass to try and crawl into the back seat of he car now. Then started laying down one of my favorite paint colors. That's about all I have for pics right now. Taking photos with a phone and in the low lighting of the shop really takes away from the gray. Need to get the car into actual sunlight. Also finally after a month of being back ordered the SPL V5 Tie Rod Ends came in, and like usual the quality of their parts is ridiculous. They make the Tein outers I currently have look like twigs.

Well ran into a few issues with my paint on the roll cage so it had to all be stripped and re applied. Exciting I know. But finally it is at least one color and I can move on to other parts of the car.
Extended the lower control arms 25mm, braced and gusseted on the bottom. Installed a new 3" elbow, finally got rid of the stock t25 elbow. Will be running a welded dif this year instead of the J30 I had last year. Always looks like the car is a lot further along when a motor is actually sitting in the bay. Going to try these out. Installed the newly extended LCAs with new ball joints on the car. This is with the old alignment/ tie rods centered. Good thing I picked up the GKtech rack spacer, and the SPL outer tierod ends. Got started on trying to clean up my interior also. With the cage I had to relocate a few things. Center counsel mocked up Attempt at trying to copy Broadfields work. Not quite finished yet.

Dude, no way. I remember this picture from Craigslist last summer. I was thinking about buying this thing! Small world.
Nice build, by the way! |

Thanks dude
Here is a few pic from last weekend. Busy working on the car so I didn't take many photos. Apologize for the poor picture quality. Hopefully I can have a friend with a quality camera snap some shots.
