Impreza is much better, but don't count on seeing that hatch here. I still don't like the "nose" shape that extends from the center of the grill up over the hood.
The Evo X concept is still a concept. Officialt pics of the actual Evo have not been released yet. Though the Lanser has.

At first I thought the Evo was hot given that the Concept X is just a thinly disguised version of the production car.....but if the STi looks anything that p-chop I'd go with that instead.
However, everything really does depend on the final specs, design and a Best Motoring comparison.

Lol i used to be all for the 2 door coupes but as of lately a sporty 4 door is more in my view. Having 2 s13's another 2 door coupe is kinda pointless. Also for insurance reasons and practicality a 4 door is more appealing to later 20 year olds. A sporty 4 door is a more practical option at my age where time for just driving around is monopolized by time at work and school and the need for a vehicle that is more comfortable and not limited by a 2 seat arraingment. PS a 240 will not fit 2 grown adults comfortably let alone older/ more professional persons.
A sporty functional car vs a sport car. |

Mitsubishi needs to step up into what is going to be the next market competition. The 5 door hatch wars. All they would need to do is throw in the 4g63 fwd or whatever its replacement is going to be and boom, they are in the running big time.
Evo/STI, it doesnt really matter what they look like. Its the other features that are important. They both need to get those damn curb weights down though!!!!

Functionality sucks.
I'm selling my evo. I love it, but it comes with too many strings attached, mainly being able to give people rides, and stuff like usable storage space. I would daily drive a Caterham Super 7 if I felt like spending that much money on a car again. I'd never have to give rides to 4 people again. I'll be daily driving my Supra, then eventually get a Jaguar XK8. those cars are sexy+luxurious, and it would blow people's minds to see one at a Justdrift event. |

i saw an Evo X last night on katella in anaheim going to the ducks game last night. it looked exactly like those pictures. same color and everything, had dealer plates on it. it actually looked pretty good in person. i would have taken pictures but it was way too dark.

I would pass on the evo.. the aftermarket im sure will tackle the front end and cure the ugliness that i personally feel.
The WRX hatch lookd amazing, it cought my eye first thing... (then again it was the first pciture) lol.... Its going to be interesting to see if the WRX gains a following and the Evo loses a little, but i doubt that happens. |

yah me too...
I love pink. anyways. Evos, seem so much.. I donno... they just feel less rugged than the wrx.. and it seems they are continuing that here, the evo is (evolving) into a more of a car ez goes it, and the suby is bringing more of its crazy roots out... If i had the choice. wrx.
