The drifting season just got a little more interesting. The IRL just acquired one of the new drifting series - XDC. Full Details Here.

I'm thinking about starting up another drifting series this coming week. haha!

so a drifting series gets a feeder drifter series to acompany it? so they can span the events over a week and charge people up the ass to attend all days to watch??

just when you thought privateers where having a hard time competeing against the pro teams that have the big money and sponsors...................

all in all though, its a good thing imo.
We will always be able to have fun driving at the track.
and hopefully we will see more drifting coverage on TV and more ventures for people that are making their living off drifting.

Livesockets is also legit, been around forever as I am sure you know.

I am sure either could be playing a joke though. However, again, technically Wrecked posted it March 31, not April 1st. LiveSockets posted it April 1st as news from Wrecked. That being said, according to Wrecked Magazines article, there is something about the XDC site, that I surely don't find.

We shall see.

The sites are legit enough but the story is a B.S. Viral. XDC is too new for any major organization such as IRL to just go and purchase it. Besides, those Indy guys don't consider drifting a real motorsport. And it just so happens it's all posted today. Until I see it on IRL's website, XDC's or Drifting.com I call B.S. Think about it.

I don't completely disagree, as I said, there is some interesting un-matched information.

I just want to leave it open for the rest of Zilvia to think about.

Kind of like spoilers, don't want to give away my thoughts. I want to see people react.
