Buying new S14 Kouki Tails???

I can't believe how difficult it is to get ahold of new kouki tails. My 97 has had a busted pass tail since I bought it and it's been annoying the shit out of me. Thought when I bought the car the replacement would be cheap and quick but noooooooo.

Since these tails fade together just buying 1 replacement would look bad. Plus my center garnish and driver tail are fadded into a light purple so they need changing anyways. Anyone know where to find an entire kit BNIB for a decent price?

All else fails I'll buy another pass tail and paint them all to look like new but I hate ghetto crap like that.

Thanks

Just buy the one you need and paint the set at the same time. It's not exactly hard just time consuming. Definitely a weekend Job.

I painted mine and extremely happy with the results. Just because you paint it yourself doesn't make it "Ghetto" If you take your time and do it the right way it should come out nice. I hope this helps...

The materials I used

1 can of PlastiKote black vinyl Paint (2 coats)

1 Pintstripe tape (I used black but its better if you used a lighter color like yellow or white when masking off the edges)

1 Blue painters masking tape.

then I took the lights to my buddies shop to have them clear coated (no sand needed for Vinyl paint)

I used this link as my reference guide.
