So... you bought a KNOCK-OFF from EBAY and...

you're surprised that it fits like shit?

Congratulations on getting what you deserved.

You can try try heating and re-bending it, but it's only held on with double sided tape when it's all said and done.

1. Heat it up with something and try to WARP it so that it might fit somewhat ok.

2. Contact ebay guy (if possible) and explain that it is terrible and ask for a new one or refund. That will probably be a slim chance and if he says OK, then you'll probably need to pay for shipping back to him AND shipping to you on a new one.

3. Start reading Zilvia and WHY people don't suggest getting cheap knock offs. My brain explodes on itself everytime I read something like this. There are some of us that understand this whole concept and try to help others (such as yourself) from getting a piece of shit.

4. Live and learn. Think about this next time you see a "great deal" on a knockoff part from ebay.

If it's fiberglass heating it wont do any good. You see, fiberglass resin is a thermoset. Google it if you dont know what that means, but basically it doesn't respond to heat the way a thermoplastic would.

just FYI, heat can and will warp a fiberglass part.
Trust me.

You are going to have a very hard time trying to bend this part to make it fit.
