I think it was just under 1000. Still, the creme color is by far one of my favorite and I've known this car from back in 2008ish when my buddy bought it(fairly sure it's the same car). I bought it back in June sight unseen from another friend of mine. I'm still in living Germany....haha.

Its a really fun driving car when they dont have blown suspension and aren't totally worn out. Cant wait to take it up to the mountains and buzz it around.

I'm always happy to see someone leave a two-tone untouched...but please, do yourself a favor and upgrade the suspension hah. That's the only thing that needs to touched to really enjoy it. Coilovers and RUCA are enough to moderately lower the car and still enjoy it.

Saw a two-tone at UpGarage next to a yellow Mercedes AMG GT-S. I decided to act like a totally uncouth American and ask one of the employees if it was for sale. He was cool about it, but told me these cars BOTH belonged to the same person: the manager of the UpGarage I was at. It actually made me happy to know that someone with so much money owns (and is trying to preserve) a two-tone.

On the other hand, found a seafoam two-tone on the local Facebook pages and tried to ask the owner about it. He's not opposed to selling it, but he wants $12k. If no one buys it he's going to "...go Rocket Bunny V2 but keep the color scheme."

Damn.

Once the new place comes around and a custom garage gets built to store all these things, I'll definitely be hunting for a fairly stock S15 to do minor upgrades on, but keep it pretty original. Spec R aero being a must.

That is, if I don't move onto a Porsche 964. The itch is strong.

i start to wonder if people even have good taste anymore. back in 2000, people used to replace all the body panels with aftermarket aero. they sucked shit in terms of quality, fitment, durability... but at least the cars looked somewhat ok.

fast forward today and while we still have trendy rocketdickbunny kits being sold by the boatloads, now we have this new appreciation for things that have always sucked. examples? auto seatbelts = suck shit. 89-90 front bumper = sucks shit. sunroofs = leak, whistle and suck shit. KA engine = suck shit

give the coupe a proper paint job, pull that interior and have it re-done black........ then you can enjoy the car properly. stop with all this preservation nonsense, this isnt fine wine
