Angry Problem swapping SR to KA Bellhousing!?!

Ok , here's what's up.

I followed this DIY off of nico (as I did the last time), only this time I used a 96 Ka Tranny instead of an 93-Ka Tranny.

All was going normal until it was time to slip the Sr bellhousing over the Ka guts.

It seemed that one of the rods (the lowest w/ the slit in it) wouldnt mate with the bellhousing.

I removed the bellhousing and tried shifting the gears only to find out that it will only shift into 1st and second. I dont know if its because the rods werent supported or if maybe I had done the bellhousing removal precedure incorrenctly.

A friend of mine told me that if the tranny wasnt in neutral when I took it apart that I could have messed something up internally ,but im quite sure it was.

Ive searched most of the more well known boards and I cant really find anyone with the same problem...

Help!!!!!

hit up racepar1, I had the same problem and he took care of it and did a great job.

something wasn't aligned right when you put it back together.

There was also no need to take the sandwich plate completely off, bell housing would of been enough.

Thanks for the quick reply... It will move freely as it is in neutral , but it will only move forward and backward in 1st and 2nd (presumably)
