if your interested.. post an idea on where to have it. well take the majority..(so most liekly south VA... Va beach or chesapeake)

i live in ches. but i think we should have it in VA.beach several auot-x events coming up

I think a good meet time will be in may or june, I should have my engine rebuilt by april(hope so). I think a cool meet would be some autoX(never did it before) or try to get a group discount at VIR(never been there either). Just some ideas/

FYI- you will not get on VIR without at least one year notice. (I think they are booked for the next two years)

The auto-x sounds cool. Also don't discount the fact of organizing our own events. Get enough intrest to where you could go to the area police and get our own little display of speed in a parking lot and have organized "Hooliganism".

100 an hour for the dyno....i'll see if i can get him to do 30 for 3 pulls. i'm sure there will have to be about 10 cars or more at least.

What's the name of the shop? I would like to get an idea of how far Norfolk is from Springfield. Hopefully I will have a FMIC on and dyno at 14 lbs. My last dyno was @ 9 lbs and my actuator didn't hold and droped to 7 lbs so I only pulled 197hp and 205lb/ft.

Edit: I am shooting for 215-220hp

::set low goals so you won't be dissapointed::

Only seen one interesting 240 in person, and that was in Portsmouth... guy with a stripped & caged red S13 coupe, SR20 on hellish boost, running on black steelies and S14SE wheels in the back. That sound like anyone on here?

its Abacus Racing. I used to live in Springfeild. Its about 3 hours away maybe less. sucks about the wastegate, if this goes down there will plenty of people there to help out with simple stuff.

I have my own goals as well. hows 400rwhp @13psi sound? crazy? hahahhh

Hey, I live in NC but I drive up to Va Beach to see my parents all the time(at least once a month). I'm actually probably going to be there this weekend. Saturday night will be my only night out though. So anyone around the area might want to meet up, hit me up. As for the meet, if it's in south VA I'd be down.

i just got off the phone with Shad from abacus.......for 10 cars 50$ for 3 pulls. He can talk to Chuck the owner and see what else for price. But thats 10 cars a day for this dyno. so it would be an all day thing.

Personally i've seen more than 10 go on a dyno in one day at the 2001 national convention , but this one is a drive up dyno not an inground dyno.

Haha.. more like 64 put you in your seat hp's boyyeee.. lol.. its all stock right now.. and it runs like hell, it eats spark plug wires and clutch cables 1 a month.. ask DMC... right now Im runnin on 2 cylinders AGAIN!.. it freking sucks... but maybe in 10 years and 3 grand later I will have a 12 second merkur.. until then.. 240's woop me
