E85 rb25det?
I want to run E85 and have some questions as I haven't done it before.
Here are the mods I have so far: DW200 Fuel pump Stock injectors Stock fuel rail Fully built bottom end Fully built top end MLS Head gasket ARP head bolts Bored to 86.5mm block stock turbo I'm going to be running stock turbo setup till I have enough for the big turbo and manifold setup I want. Of course Ill be going Large injectors for that setup a couple months down the road. I'm just wondering If I can run e85 with stock turbo and stock fuel system till then? I'm doubting it since the stock injectors are 370cc I believe? Should I just run pump till big turbo? Will my DW200 be able to handle 600+ HP or will I need a dual pump setup? Good injectors for running e85 with a Precision 6466 1.0 AR ? Thanks Last edited by Joshhankins5; 05-10-2016 at 09:57 AM.. |

Bigger injectors and bigger fuel pump will be needed IF you run it at WOT.
You need to remap for e85, wether you use new injectors or not. Fueling and timing is different. If you cannot do it yourself, there is not much point doing it now. What you could do for now is use a little ethanol mix to clean your fuel system before switching to bigger injectors and new pump. The car may run a bit lean so no WOT either ... 20 - 30% mix is ok. |

No you cannot use E85 on stock fuel system or injectors.. No real reason too until you get bigger turbo on it anyway.
DW200 is not enough pump for 600whp on E85 i would invest in the E85 version of the Walbro 450 Dubbed "485" should only need 1. I wouldnt go any smaller than 1000cc injectors for your power goal |

seems about right if you can get the flex fuel reader would be in your best interest so you know what % of e85 you are getting
