s13 Is my clutch going bad?

Heres whats going on. When I shift to 2nd gear, my car revs up but is very slow at acceleration. Around 5k rpms will it feel like the gear "catches" and I start moving faster. It does exhibit this same behavior in 3rd, but not as prominently as in 2nd. Also must mention that it doesnt happen EVERY time in 2nd gear, but it does happen quite often now.

It started doing this immediately after autocrossing for the first time in this car, and when I think about it, I was in 2nd gear a whole lot during my runs.

I thought it might be related to my MAF or MAP, but my revs would be limited if something was wrong with it, right?

Its funny to see my already slow car making a bunch of noise in 2nd gear and going absolutely nowhere. If my clutch is messed up, I plan on buying a new exedy clutch when I get paid next week.

As far as troubleshooting, I have put the car into 5th gear from a dead stop and dropped the clutch. As expected, the engine stopped. I was told to try that to see if I still idle, then it would be my clutch, but Im not an expert on clutches (or cars for that matter.)
If anyone has any input, it would be appreciated.
