rb20 bubble'n over

so everyone and their momma knows that rb's are very notorious for overheating but i have a weird situation. i own a rb20 blah blah and even though i flushed, put in new coolant and bled the cooling system my coolant gets really hot and bubbles out of the overflow tank.. but my car doesnt over heat at all, and i am positivie that my car isnt overheating... so i have no idea what is going on.. i might think its that the radiator cap isnt holding pressure or i just need to run two e fans, but again im not overheating... sigh so if anyone has had this problem please let me know what u did.. thanks alot for readn

for the sake of not condemning the headgasket, i suggest 2 things. 1 go to the parts store (Advanced Auto usually has it in stock) and get the coolant temp SENDING UNIT (it has one male spade connector sticking out of the top) it is NOT the two terminal coolant temperature sensor for the ecu, you want the one for the guage, it's like 16 bucks. get the one for the year make and model of your car. if your 240's an s13 then get an s13 one, if yours is an s14 then get an s14 one. all you need to change it is a deep 13mm socket and a rachet. after you've done that, it would be a good idea to do a compression test.

please repost after you've done that. gl
