wiring help s14
hello i have moved my chase harness in my s14 and soldered 18g wire into the stock wiring the 18g being larger i ran to all my headlamps and some other plugs on the chase harness will this be fine going from the 18 to the smaller wiring or will it cause issues

You always want to splice with the same gauge or larger. If you had say 20ga wiring, splicing with 20ga or 18ga is acceptable. If you have a lot of solder joints right next to each other, it's best to stagger them to reduce the stack up height.
If I'm not mistaken, the headlights have larger ga wiring than 18. They should be 14-16ga as they see quite a bit of amperage.
