Come a long way from my s14 and Genesis video days, check it out and lemme know what you think!

lol. high ass car. xxr's. pull focus end point is out of focus. shooting on auto iris? weird framing on a number of the shots. weird foreground stuff that subtracts from the image instead of adding some dynamic shit to it.
if you're going to put in the effort (or lack there of?) you should at least choose a car that that's worth it. also, "notorious society" is the most fanboy-est name i've ever heard. ps. this is the wrong section of the forum.

Ok. So.
You really need to learn how to frame. Your shot with the bottom of the car at the top of the frame makes no artistic sense whatsoever. It can be deleted entirely both from the video and your computer. If you are going to take the time to make a video that you want to turn out good, for your own benefit, if you are working on a certain shot that requires focus pulling and you don't get it perfect the first time then you should keep trying until you do. Out of focus shots are not artsy by any means, they are simply amateurish. A good shot may start or end out of focus but ONLY if it is for a reason or adds to the story telling. Not "just because". In this case, your shots were "just because". If you are using an auto exposure mode, stop. Learn how to properly expose your shot and set it manually so that it does not get brighter or darker mid shot. This is very anti-cinematic. One last thing that caught my eye (or ear, rather) was the shot where he drives off with his car. The sound comes much too abruptly. If you are going to do something like this there are a few methods you can without shocking your audience. One way is to fade the audio in before the video transitions to the shot with the audio which I tend to like best but it all depends on the situation. If you really want to learn more about video prod I suggest you join Cinema5D and DVXuser if you haven't already. Watching the staff picks on Vimeo will also teach you a lot if you closely observe their videos. That's all I've got for now. Good luck on the next one!

exactly but in all honesty, what teddy said has the most truth. Now that is constructive criticism.
