S13 Silvia Corner Blinker Fast Flash

Tried searching but couldn't find the answer...

But I wired up my Silvia amber corners to the bumper blinkers. Black / Green-Yellow wires if anyone else was wondering. (I do not have bumper lights)

My question is how do I make it so the turn signals don't hyperflash or blink really fast. I understand this is because the 194 bulbs are lower wattage than the oem bumper bulbs. I've been reading about load resistors, if this is the solution, which one would I want? Are there other solutions?

Thanks.

yeah, you're definitely on the right track. not only do blown out / bad bulbs do a hyper-flash, but so do the wrong bulb type. I haven't done a silvia front end yet so im unsure how to correct this exact issue. good luck

btw, im ASE certified in electrical diag.

Well either put the bumper lights on or just do the resistors, nothing to it bro, any particular reason you don't have bumper lights?

Yeah I'm actually running a super made kit. So there's no slots for the bumper lights. As far as resistors, which one would I use? There's many different ones with different wattage and omh ratings.

just put bulbs in the connectors and ziptie them inside your bumper. Thats the easiest way.

And you wont have to deal with having load resistors if you ever get rid of the kit.
