Yes, the tranny will work.

As for the ECU, find out what ECU you are using and get the manual version of it.

I have all parts from a sohc in my '95 the clutch pedal needed some spacers between it and the firewall on the inside but everything works great. I did have to use a custom driveshaft (or get the correct one from a '95) and a '95 5sp ecu but you can run the auto ecu for awhile with no major problems sometimes it dies on cold starts but with a little gas it runs and idles perfect. I now have the 5sp ecu and everything is like stock no probs.

The tranny will work, the speed sensor won't though.

Use the speed sensor matching the lower harness/ECU you used... I used a 95 engine with a 93 ECU/harness/speed sensor. The driveshaft shouldn't matter what year it is from, as long as you get the front "half" off of a 5-speed car

Actually the Prop.shaft for a s14 is different from an s13 one. The speed sensor from a s14 won't fit into a s13 tranny without modification. I also forgot to mention that the S14 tranny bell housing has a hole for the crankshaft position sensor, which s13's don't use.

I'm not trying to scare you, but to let you know that the swap would be better if you had everything from a s14.

no, it doesn't fit. either you swap the spindle or you can shave down the s14 speed sensor to make it fit.. I was in the garage 2 hours ago just looking at it myself..

you have to either switch the pinion gear on the speed sensor.. or like I'm attempting to do, shave down the s14 speed sensor until it fits in the s13 tranny

you can throw in the 93 tranny but the speed sensor and angle sensor from the s14 wont work and on top of that the s13 and s14 have different driveshafts that go into the back of the tranny , but on the brightside they both bolt the same at the diff
