dang man, looks like you're gonna have a twin! I'm building a blue type-x with a rb26 as well. I'm running 2860r's instead of a single, how much power are you looking to make? looks like you're gonna finish before me though.

ps.... you might wanna consider a different pump.... the n1 pumps are notorious for issues (as are the stock pumps) I would recommend a Tomei pump. they are by far the best pump out there. If you are dead set of the N1 pump at least get the reimax gear set for it. pretty solid from what ive heard/read.
is this an r32 engine? are you getting a JUN collar fitted? or running r33 crank? |

I have Been working on rb26s for the past 4 years and have a very intimate relationship with them I have personally seen stock pump failures, n1 failures, and even a jun pump with a cracked outer gear Don't try to school me on something I know this well. He said in his own post he's shooting for 700hp do what difference does it make if it's a "race car for a million dollar team" If that's the case he'd have a dry sumP Look at his mod list he's spending alot of coin on forged internals and machine work. Why risk all the money over some silly like an oil pump? $1500 on a tomei pump is well spent, you can sleep well at night and rev to 10k (balancing and valve train dependent) What do you rev Ur rb to? I goto 9k on my RB28 without even thinking twice |

^^ Agreed. That or a JUN oil pump if you can swing it. Both are recommended. A lot of my GTR friends have used Tomei or JUN models. I personally have never seen a N1 fail but the ones that I have heard about people using have been modified.
HAHA First thing I was thinking when I had seen this thread! |

Another note:
The rumors that you heard about the few issues the rb26 had are true, but it took full race 700-800 hp skylines in Japans doing race after race to figure out the weaknesses. Weaknesses you will never see because your not even gonna come close to testing the limits by doing pulls around town. |

Nice build! Looks like you are building this the right way! What Precision turbo is that?
I have the PT6262 on my RB26. Would you like to buy a D Jetro Power FC for a RB26 by chance!? lol |
