I was going to do this last year but backed out do to nobody telling me what they wanted and sticking to it, but I am for sure going to do it this year no matter what. Here is my problem, I wan't to set up a meet and greet at a local park that I will rent for a day or two where we can go and BBQ and bs about whatever we want and I would like it to be on a weekend that there is an autocross and/or drag racing (test and tune) so people can go to one of those events if they chose. I can't locate a weekend with both and the only test and tune sessions on the weekend ( sat morning 10-2 but you have to show up at like 6:30 to get through tech with enough time to race ) are at a not so great drag stip called Mid America Raceway. So that being said how many would make the trip from elsewhere for this and would the extra caricular things ( any sort of racing )be nessasary. Thank you for any input you can give me. July 17-18 looks like the main canidate weekend right now.

Sounds like a great general plan. I am in St. Louis for most autocrosses, and I think it would be quite humorous to get my car on the drag strip


Only problem I have with this is that I will be out of the country all summer....
