so my ka24det wont start. I have AEM series one on it and it ran just fine got gas and was ready to hit the road then the car stopped working. ALso noticed that the little knob piece on top of the distributor cap was gone is that and issue

Start with the basic steps: check for fuel, spark and compression. When it turns over, can you smell fuel through the exhaust? For spark, remove a plug and crank it. If you don't see anything, there's obviously a spark issue. Last, if those two checks passed, go ahead and do a compression test to see the condition of your engine. If the compression is too low, it car will experience loss of power, or as possibly in your car, won't start. Hope this helps
