wheels are easier to sell
rather then having brakes and being questioned.
lol

Think about it though, GTR rims. Almost noone has them, especially selling them off. No matter what these guys do with them they will get caught.

You guys really think that snatch and grab thieves have time to TAKE the guys fucking brakes? No, they jack up the car, take off 20 lugnuts and get the FUCK out of there.

That's a pretty hefty theft considering the value of the OEM wheels.

Grand theft.

idk, it would have been quick since the car was already in the air w/ wheels off. im pretty sure each caliper is held on by like 2 bolts as is with most standard cars (if it's special maybe 3, unless they have some kind of special hex nut) and brake calipers and then cut the rubber brake/hardline. if it's ss line stock, that could be cut also i would think or unbolt.

i was just reading the responses on my350z. wow. dudes are straight stupid. like omg how could he have a 80k car and not have it garaged... A. some people dont need a house if they are single and only want a townhouse/condo/nice ass apartment or really give a shit about leaving it out if they live in a nicer area. B. he was at his gf's as stated. C. HE HAS FUCKING INSURANCE. OH NOES! stock wheels can never be replaced. yes it sucks to have shit stolen and its an inconvenience but fuck he probably has no deductible so guess what? new wheels, rockers fixed and possibly rotors if they need replaced for free!

Is it just me or do you think that if I where to buy a GT-R I would getter better lug nuts then that? (they just look like lug nuts from any car off the lot). I could be wrong.
