If I had to guess the gauge isn’t right,

Be very surprised if it is,

Maybe I can turn the boost controller clear off

Like I said I’ve never seen pavement

Prolly god keeping me close to home, because 1 pull at those levels can blow it up lol

The other ole boy said to get a working boost gauge and see the truth.

I have no idea where to take the car to have it looked at.

There is a duramax professional up the road, that tunes trucks

And this may be a cake walk for him.

Keep checking in on this thread I may have more questions for you.

Ik I will lol.

Thanks partner

Do you think since the air flow controller, has been zeroed, that could be the issue.

It literally isn’t set at all.

And it’s all hooked into the ecu and shit

Guy who did the swap said to set the fuel delivery for certain throttle positions or rpm

Shit man idk. Maybe I outta find a tuner shop.

Several hours away =(

AFC is a band-aid at best. it intercepts and modifies the maf signal to trick the ecu into thinking a different volume of air is flowing into the engine, and adjusts fuel accordingly. it doesn't adjust timing, which is CRUCIAL on turbo setups

you need an ecu that is programmable like a power FC or motec, or at LEAST an ecu that is reflashed for your specific setup.

I will feel so embarrassed if all I gotta do is, is mess with the safc that is in the cab

It’s probably over fueling because it doesn’t know what to squirt at certain rpms.

like I said, an afc is NOT a good tuning solution.

What can I do to lower my boost?

Alright, I’ll see what I can get going on that.

Any other suggestions, on how to lower that manifold pressure?

Besides throttle response lol

Remember since I do my pulls on gravel.

The tires are spinning like crazy.

So no real traction or hookup can lead to tearing up engine.

Less that 2 seconds a pull

And sorry for being a pain in the ass.
