i've thought about this before, doing rear overfenders and just modifing them to fit on the rear... but i was thinking more along a s13 (alot more similar to the s15)... but i'm sure i wouldnt have the ambition to get it to look good and fit right
but yeah... your best bet would be overfenders imo |

the amount of work and trouble you will do to make an s14 look like an s15 will cost you as much as it costs to import and legalize a s15...
But, I must ask... Why do you want to convert a s14 to a s15????? |

Gimme Your S14 Front End!!! Why waste a perfectly good headlights for some plastic S15 ones??? As far as the rears go, have fun finding a body shop who would be willing to do that conversion, its not a regular run of the mill conversion. Alot of cutting, welding and bondo to even make it not look like a complete ass. The last S15 rear end conversion Ive seen in norcal failed misearably at it...

watevers floats his boat. and it shouldnt cost as much to do.
lay the widebody cut up the rear to make the tails fit section the trunk then fiber glass teh whole rear. and your got s15 rear. seems kinda of intresting. i know theres no point of doing this but this might bring in some cool points. if this guy wants his s14 to look like a s15 let him do so.

^^^WOW, you made it sound so fucking simple...sure cutting metal and laying bondo/fiberglass is easy but making shit line up and making it look flawless is another thing. That part is what makes it cost so damn fucking much...
Sure youre right, its ultimately his car. He could potentially make it work and not make the car look like utter shit. But to me, I appreciate the rarity of a true S14 kouki. If he screws the conversion up and hacks up the rear, thats 1 less clean S14 on the road...And again, I HAVE YET TO SEE A CLEAN ONE DONE PROPERLY. Again, if he pulls it off, props to him, but the chance of that is against him... |

Well, we have to give out 2 cents before he ruins a perfectly good S14. Because
it's a 50/50 bet that he will resell the car for a newer obsession within six months. I am kidding. I had a couple glasses of wine... so i am going to drag my ass to bed nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwww. |

honestly id just feel like it would be a whole lot of
"o shit! check out that S15, OMG!.......wait...wtf?.....steering wheel is on the left side?....awwww wtf?...FAIL! or - "hey man is that an S15???" -"nah its a 240...i did a conversion" -".......oo....well alright.. later" and yes as ppl said probably a shit load of money to make look clean, I can only recall seeing a handfull of converted s15s, most s13.5s since the body lines are closer..never seen a full s14.5 that i can recall, and IMO it would have to be an overall badass car to pull it off, s14.5 with stock ka/sr would be serious failtown |

Why waste the money/time on making a S14 look like a S15 when you can just import one for that much. It'll take a LOT of work to convert the rear end...
...good luck man. You're gonna need it.

Just stick with the S15 front if the S15 is what you desire. That's the end that makes the S15 the car that it is. I just don't see it being worth a ton of money and time for some very normal looking tails.

i don't care how much money you spend on trying to make an s14 looks like an s15, it's never gonna look right. the dimensions of the s14 are larger all around and the roof line will never be the same.
if you are obsessed with the looks of an s15, why not just get one? theres one for sale 5 minutes from me, legalized ready to drive.

In the end it will still be an s14.
I guarantee no matter how much body work you pull, it will still not have the aesthetics of an s15, there are so many factors that you might as well stick with s14 stuff. The roofline will look god awful along with the shapes and lines of the side and rear windows. its a fail fail situation if you try.

In my opinion your car is what it is no matter how much "conversion" you do to it. A 240sx will NEVER be a silvia, it's just a 240sx with a janky RHD conversion and a motorswap (not that there is anything really special about a silvia). Your s-14 will always be an s-14 no matter what bodywork you put on it! Why deny it? If you want an s-15, buy an s-15. The bodywork will almost certainly not come out as good as expected as it is extremely difficult. When that happens all you have left is a hacked up s-14 that is essentially ruined.
