i'm looking to do the same swap with that kit. i noticed that their exhaust headers are quite pricey though. to save money i am going to weld my own headers and exhaust and keep an open eye for a wrecked low mileage q45. For cheap.

Hey guys,
I am actually selling my Mazworx VH45 into s13 swap kit. It was a blast for a while, but I ended up taking out my oil pan on a rumble strip and blowing my motor. Now I need to focus on fixing up my house so this has got to go. Let me know if you have any questions. Just think, your your car could sound like this: I’ve done all the hard work and research, made all the custom parts, and didn’t cut a single corner to do this right. This swap kit includes EVERYTHING you need to put a VH45 into a S13. This comprehensive kit includes: Mazworx Engine Mounts Mazworx Headers with a high-temp silver coating Mazworx VHVG S-Chassis Mounts and Adapter Kit (Tranny Mount, Bell Housing Adaptor, Block Off Plates, Mazworx Shifter and Bracket, Hardware, etc.) Mazworx Aluminum One-piece Driveshaft Oppo-Moto Custom intake with filter Z32 Transmission in perfect working order plus the machined bell housing that mats up to the Mazworx bell housing adapter Modified Peak Performance Pro Transmission bushing for this swap Exedy Stage 2 Clutch (about 600 miles on it) F1 Lightened Chromoly Flywheel (about 600 miles on it) Custom High Pressure Power Steering Line Wrapped in heat shielding Modified Tension Rod bracket to fit power steering pulley S14 non-abs brake booster (you need this to get the valve covers to clear) Modified throttle cable One-off Custom C&R Radiator made specifically for a VH in a S-Chassis FAL Fans for radiator Custom Full Stainless 3” Exhaust (Y-pipe) with polyurethane exhaust hangers Custom Oppo-Moto wiring harness ECU, MAF, and Ignitors Brand new Z32 starter Brand new NGK Iridium spark plugs (8) Circuit Sports full stainless braided clutch line New alternator and power steering belts Glitter yellow powder coated valve covers Brand new thermostat Modified alternator bracket Two VH45’s for spare parts (I don't want to ship these, but if you're in the area, I'll come drop them off) All you will need is a VH45 and you’re set. Good ones can be had for about $400-500 from junkyards. The best ones to get are the 94-95 motors as they have improved heads and electronics along with the metal timing chain guides from the factory. On 89-93’s these need to be replaced as the factory plastic ones have the tendency to break. Also you will need to modify your chassis a little to get everything to clear properly. More info on that can be found on Mazworx’s website (Mazworx) or in my build thread (http://www.d-town.us/forum/viewtopic.php?t...?t=5171&start=0) $4900 gets you EVERYTHING!! It may seem like a lot but you would spend about the same to get the same HP out of a SR, but without that instant power. Plus I've spent about $2000 more on everything you see above easily as I had to figure a lot of things out with trial and error. Feel free to contact me with any questions Some pictures of the swap kit: Headers: Transmission w/adapter bracket: Bell housing adapter, tranny mount, shifter, etc. Motor mount: Flywheel, clutch, etc. C&R Raditator: Thanks, Scott Last edited by Nagaremono; 06-30-2009 at 12:31 PM.. |
